Designed by Enrique Canales and
Luis Recasens the 27 hole course, in Huelva, was opened in 1992
Shortly afterwards hosted the 1993 PGA European Challenge Tour event won by Sweden's Magnus Person.
The complex extends over 300 hectares and will eventually include an Olympic training village, equestrian centre, yacht harbour and casino.
